Longform is becoming one of my most listened to podcasts. I don’t consider myself a writer (although I would like to write more) but it has so much interesting stuff about work, creative practice, and how people see themselves in the world.
Rhythm and running
Things always feel easier when they have a rhythm.
Post-baby, I’ve just started getting back into running. Just starting slowing with a little 3km run/walk loop near my house. Yesterday I headed off and it felt really hard. The first 5 minutes of jogging felt like they were never going to end, but I managed to push through. About half-way into the run I realised that it no longer felt like such a struggle and noticed that I was breathing (and almost making a soft moaning sound) in time with my footsteps.
